WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Don’t think you can make tasty cocktails for your holiday party. Just believe in your elf. Er, self.
Derrick Cook from KGB in downtown Wilmington served up recipes for two cocktails on WECT News First at Four.
Here are the recipes:
“Under the mistletoe”
1 1/2 pear nectar
1 1/2 oz chai tea
1 oz sour mix
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into an iced 10 oz cocktail glass, garnish with a lemon twist.
Muddle fresh ginger, mint and cucumber.
2oz Pimm’s No. 1
1 to 2 oz sour mix
Shake over ice and strain into a 16 oz glass filled with ice while adding high quality ginger ale.
Cook says to garnish with an “outrageous amount of mint, strawberries, oranges and cucumber.”
