Jonathan Cooper out for the season with torn bicep

LANDOVER, MD (WECT) - Washington Redskins offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper tore his bicep in the team’s 28-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said during his news conference Tuesday that Cooper will miss the rest of the season.

Cooper, a former Hoggard High School standout, was a first-round pick (seventh overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2013 NFL draft.

The Wilmington native has spent time with the Cardinals, Patriots, Browns, Cowboys, 49ers, and Redskins.
