NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Cape Fear Festival of Trees has taken over the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
The sea creatures now have some holiday cheer of their own with 50 festive trees decorated by local businesses, organizations and individual artists.
The trees will be on display until Dec. 30 with the purchase of a general admission ticket.
Proceeds will benefit Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation.
Many of this year’s trees were decorated in Cape Fear Strong themes.
