WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -A reinforcing shot of cold air will hold temperatures down ahead of a rain producing low that will leave the weekend unsettled. Cooler again early next week.
THURSDAY: A morning Canadian shot in the arm will keep conditions cold. Expect afternoon highs mainly in the upper 40s and north winds generally 10 to 15mph will add an extra "bite" at times.
FRIDAY: Expect a cold and frosty sunrise (most spots in the 20s!) and then partly sunny skies and highs mainly in the low and mid 50s for the afternoon. For the third day in a row, rain chances will stay near 0%.
WEEKEND: Rain chances return with the aforementioned storm system: 30% Saturday morning, 70% Saturday afternoon and night, 50% Sunday morning, and 30% Sunday afternoon. Daily highs: mainly in the 60s.
