- 2 racks Pork Ribs (aprox. 4 lbs.)
- 2 cups apple juice
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- ½ lb brown sugar
- 1 tbs. liquid smoke
- 2 tbs. Salt
- 1 tbs. black pepper
- 2 tbs. paprika
- 2 tbs. brown sugar
- 4 cups favorite BBQ sauce
In a small bowl combine 2 tbs. salt, 1 tbs. black pepper, 2 tbs. paprika, and 2 tbs. brown sugar. Using you fingers mix well to form a rub, then sprinkle the rub on both sides of the ribs. Take your hand and lightly pat the rub on to the rib. Set the ribs in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.
Next, using a medium size mixing bowl combine the pineapple juice, apple juice, ½ lb, brown sugar, and 1 tbs. liquid smoke. After taking the ribs from the refrigerator place them in a large baking pan (needs to be at least 3" deep). Then pour ½ of the juice mix over the ribs and cover with aluminum foil.
Place the pan of ribs in a preheated 250 degrees oven. Cooking time is Aprox. 3 hours. Half way thru the cooking time take the ribs out of the oven, pour the remaining juice mix over the ribs, and place back in the oven.
When the ribs are fully cooked brush on your favorite BBQ sauce on both sides. Enjoy!
