Troopers say a single passenger lost control of her vehicle while going north on the 4200 block of Castle Hayne Road.
The driver apparently overcorrected after going off the road and then hit a ditch, overturning her vehicle and landing on a parked SUV.
Jaws of life was used to get the driver out of the car. The woman was conscious and talking to emergency responders.
Authorities said the driver will be charged with at least careless and wreckless driving.
