Thieves use cement blocks to break into Wilmington businesses

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - There has been a rash of breaking and enterings in some businesses in Wilmington.

Monday night, thieves broke into three different businesses using bricks or cement blocks to get inside.

The Wilmington Police Department responded to crimes at Wash and Fold Services on Masonboro Loop Road and the Tops Shell Gas Station on N. Third Street.

The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office responded to a breaking and entering at La Costa Mexican Restaurant on Market Street.
