Possible traffic delays in Wilmington

Posted by Debra Worley - email

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - There could be some traffic delays for many people heading back to work Monday, January 5.

The southbound lane of Racine Drive will be closed as the city repairs a handicapped ramp at the intersection of Racine and New Center Drive.

Construction is expected to be complete by Tuesday, January 6.  Drivers are asked to be careful when driving in that area.

Monday, January 5, the city will also be repairing a bulkhead in downtown Wilmington.  Water Street will be closed from Market to Dock Streets while construction is taking place.
