WILMINGTON -- The Time Warner Cable TV booth is among the busiest at a digital TV event on the UNCW campus.
Time Warner employees answered questions. Most boiled down to, "what do I need to do to be ready for the big switch on September 8?"
And the answer, essentially is nothing. If you are a cable customer your TV set is ready for the big switch.
Time Warner is by far the largest of the three companies that serve cable customers in our area.
They are offering a $7.95 a month basic cable deal to reel in more business.
Just as with everyone else in the TV business, Time Warner is trying to figure out how to best serve their millions of customers when the rest of the country goes digital in February.
