WILMINGTON -- Government agencies, including public libraries, are working to get the big switch details to people right where they live.
The lobby of the Ahepa Apartment Complex in Wilmington turns into a library for a few hours every few weeks.
It is the modern version of the old fashioned bookmobile, with James Hudson from the New Hanover County Library bringing books for seniors who may have a hard time getting to the library.
But lately, Hudson has been bringing more than books to the stops. He is also bringing information about the big switch - the transition to digital television that experts say will affect the elderly more than most population groups.
Now, the seniors Hudson visits are more than ready to turn the page into a new era of television.
