WILMINGTON -- One of the most powerful men in the world of broadcasting made an appearance at Sears Friday.
Dozens of converter boxes were stacked at the Sears store on Oleander Drive in Wilmington.
Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin is in Wilmington to check out how retailers are preparing for the switch to digital television on September 8.
Not only do TV viewers have to get ready for the big switch, so do employees at stores like Sears. They have to answer all the questions from all the shoppers confused about what equipment, if any, they need to be ready.
