RALEIGH -- According to Attorney Douglas Harris, Thomas Wright will take the stand to tell his story.
Harris is representing the former State Representative in his criminal fraud trial.
The Wilmington Democrat is accused of fraudulently obtaining and misusing hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans and donations.
This week, jurors have heard much of the same evidence state lawmakers heard before they kicked Wright out of the General Assembly.
Wright could go to prison if the jury finds him guilty.
The trial is scheduled to continue throughout the week in Wake County.
