WILMINGTON -- Wave Transit is preparing for one of the biggest changes in its history.
Wave is mounting a publicity campaign to let passengers know that new routes are beginning on March 31. This is the first major change since 1974.
To meet the increasing demands for our growing city, Wave Transit is making changes and expansions, including new routes and a new central transfer point located behind Target on Columb Drive.
Expanded routes will allow service to include Gordon Road and secondary neighborhoods such as: George Anderson Drive and 41st Street, senior centers and retirement homes, and schools that did not already receive Wave Transit service.
