BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- Three people in Supply are dead after an apparent double murder/s-uicide, but sheriff's deputies say they don't know what triggered the deadly chain of events.
Deputies say 30-year-old Angel Williams and her 5-year-old daughter Asya Jackson were shot in their home on Boone's Neck Road.
Detectives believe 23-year-old Joshua Outlaw killed the mother and her daughter and then turned the gun on himself.
The sheriff's office says Outlaw was a Marine who had just come back from his third tour of duty in Iraq.
Detectives says there was no sign of forced entry at the home.
Williams' mother said she doesn't have any hard feelings.
Diane Peavy, mother of Angel Williams, blames the war in Iraq for Outlaw's abnormal behavior.
Evidence collected from the home has been sent to the SBI crime lab in Raleigh.
