COLUMBIA -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she'll be a caretaker for the Americans whose plights go unseen by Washington politicians.
The New York senator aired a 60-second ad on Monday on predominantly black radio stations throughout South Carolina.
Clinton refers to the plight of New Orleans residents in the days after Hurricane Katrina. She says people stuck on a rooftop or stranded in the Superdome during the hurricane were invisible to President Bush even though they were on CNN.
Clinton says such people are not invisible to her.
It's Clinton's first ad of any kind in South Carolina.
