Bruce Jackson, Trial Lawyer, was born in Sampson County and has been a Wilmington resident since 1968. A 1979 graduate of Campbell University School of Law, Mr. Jackson was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1979. He is a former North Carolina State Trooper and has been practicing law for more than 20 years. His practice has primarily concentrated in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death and workers' compensation.
Beth Smerko, Trial Lawyer, was born in Chapel Hill, and has lived in North Carolina for most of her life. She has been a resident of Wilmington since 1990. Mrs. Smerko graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 1989 and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1990. She has also been admitted to the Eastern and Western District of Federal Court for the State of North Carolina. In General Practice for 10 years, she has practiced primarily in the area of Family Law for the past four years.
