Bradley Creek Project Complete

NEW HANOVER COUNTY -- The Bradley Creek Outfall Line (BCOL) rehabilitation project has been successfully completed. The cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining and manhole rehabilitation project was finished on Saturday, September 1.

This project involved installing approximately 4,000 feet of CIPP, a plastic-like composite liner within the older iron outfall line, to ensure the integrity of this line for years to come.

In addition, 60 manholes were cleaned, repaired and lined with a spray-on polymer coating.

The next New Hanover County project in this area is the replacement of the influent junction box at the Bradley Creek pump station. This project is scheduled to begin by the end of this week.
