WILMINGTON-- Friday's Annual High School Football Jamboree kicked off the season, and landed one teen in jail.
Sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year-old Terry Earl Hooper at Legion Stadium Friday night.
Hooper had a handgun with him and an outstanding warrant.
A few people reported a drug deal going on at the stadium. When sheriff's deputies approached the teen, he resisted arrest and scuffled with the officers.
Hooper was later charged with possesion of a firearm on school property, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest.
Hooper is being held under a $5,100 bond.
Shelby Isaac was found guilty on two counts of second-degree murder in the shooting and killing E.J. Tate, his girlfriend Edwina Thomas, and their unborn child in January 2016.
