-- A leak in a hydrogen peroxide pipe should be fixed by Wednesday.
Crews were inspecting the line that runs along Independence Boulevard Tuesday when they noticed something coming out of the pipe. Water and mud in the area of the leak were bubbling. Officials say it was hydrogen peroxide. The chemical is used to cut down on the odor associated with the sewer line.
City officials say residents shouldn't be in any danger from the leak.
Crews say they'll be able to fix the pipe once the peroxide has cleared.
