LELAND-- Two Brunswick sheriff's deputies involved in a shooting in Leland have been cleared of any wrongdoing.
The SBI finished their investigation and determined that no criminal charges will be filed against deputies James Sheehan and Brian Carlisle.
The two deputies responded to a 911 call at the home of a Leland man in May.
The deputies say the man came out onto his back porch and pointed a shotgun at them.
The deputies were unable to find cover and fired at the man, hitting him several times.
The man was treated at the hospital and later released.
No charges were filed against him.
