Storage Units Catch Fire

-- Traffic is back to normal on Carolina Beach Road after a fire forced part of it to shut down Wednesday.

Two storage units and a garage apartment went up in flames at Carolina Beach Road near Southern Street.

No one was in any of the buildings, but the fire did put traffic at a standstill for about 30 minutes.

No homes were damaged, but one neighbor says the fire blew out his power and blew up his appliances.

"All I know is that I saw my TV blow up, and then I walked outside and there's all these firefighters and trucks," said Jason Harris.

Firefighters are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
