-- It looks like the Wilmington-filmed television series "One Tree Hill" has avoided cancellation again.
According to "Variety" magazine, the popular drama that airs on the CW is slated to return next year for up to 22 episodes.
The future of the show has been up in the air before. It was undecided if the show would continue when its original network, the WB, merged with UPN.
This will be "One Tree Hill's" fifth season.
