From acclaimed executive producer, creator and director Glenn Gordon Caron ("Moonlighting") comes "Medium," a chilling drama series inspired by the real-life story of research medium Allison DuBois. Emmy winner Patricia Arquette ("Stigmata," "Flirting with Disaster") stars as a young wife and mother who, since childhood, has been struggling to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people. Arquette received the Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category after the telecast of the initial 16 episodes of the critically acclaimed series.
As a part-time consultant to the district attorney's office, Allison (Arquette) uses her psychic abilities, which consist of talking to dead people as well as seeing the future in her dreams to solve violent and horrifying crimes that have remained mysteries to her boss D.A. Devalos (Miguel Sandoval, "The Division") and others within the criminal justice system. Jake Weber ("Meet Joe Black") stars as Allison's supportive husband Joe, and Sofia Vassilieva ("Eloise at the Plaza") and Maria Lark star as Ariel and Bridget, the two eldest Dubois children. David Cubitt ("10.5") also stars as Detective Lee Scanlon and Madison Carabello plays the youngest daughter, Marie Dubois.
