WILMINGTON -- Students from Isaac Bear Early College High School got their hands dirty Thursday.
It was all part of a simulated archealogy dig by students from all grades.
It took place behind the Boys and Girls Center.
After marking their sites, students used G-P-S systems to find artifacts such as hair, pottery and notes that needed to be decoded.
The teacher in charge of the dig says it's a great way to do some hands on learning.
This is the first freshman class at the early college high school.
They move in to their new building in March.
