Friends of Peyton Strickland Holds Candlelight Vigil in His Honor

WILMINGTON -- Resentment towards local police turns to sorrow for the loss of a friend, a son, a classmate.

Friends of Peyton Strickland are holding a candlelight vigil in his honor at the home where he was killed.

Strickland's family, and friends say they want to celebrate his life, but can't get past the shocking news of his death.

Back on Long Leaf Acres Drive, friends, and family have gathered to celebrate the life of 18 year old Peyton Strickland.

Although the house is now empty, his presence is felt here by many.
