Riegelwood Tornado Victims Receive More Financial Help

RIEGELWOOD -- The victims of the Riegelwood tornado are getting more financial help.

Governor Mike Easley announced Thursday that they're approved for more than $134,000 in disaster aid, including money to help pay for the funerals of the eight people killed in the storm.

So far, more than 60 people affected by the tornado have applied for aid.

Victims have until January 16 to apply for assistance from the state, and the Small Business Administration.
