Burgaw Police Investigate Several Robberies

BURGAW -- Police in Burgaw are trying to solve a string of robberies. They think the same people are responsible for all of them.

Someone has robbed two businesses and a home since the beginning of November.

Two weeks ago, the Scotchman on Wilmington Street was robbed at gunpoint. A man took cash and a pack of cigarettes. It only took seconds for police officers to arrive, but it was too late. The man was gone.

Police believe the same man and an accomplice held up Bullard's Pool Hall and a person's home. They're offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can lead them to the robbers.
