WILMINGTON -- Crews will continue to test the site of Wilmington's latest sewage leak through the weekend.
Part of the northeast interceptor pipeline near Pine Grove Drive broke Sunday, spilling more than 600,000 gallons of sewage near Hewletts Creek over the course of several days.
The break has been fixed, but crews will continue to test the water for several more days.
They do advise against swimming or wading in Hewletts Creek for the time being.
It's the end of the world as we know it. And we feel fine.
