-- Organizers of the effort to help the tornado victims say what they need most now is to know where help is needed.
"The community wants to help, but we've got to first of all find out what that help is. We can't help if we don't know what it is that's needed," says Rev. Charles Jacobs.
That's one of the reasons more than 50 religious and community leaders gathered at the Wesley Methodist Church in Riegelwood. The group sat down with agencies that have been through this process before to find out what comes next in the recovery.
"Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. People are hurting today and people want what they need today. We've got to get it to them," says Rev. Jacobs.
The pastors and other leaders agreed to work together to coordinate the relief effort, so the residents who lost everything in a matter of minutes don't have to fend for themselves in the long days ahead.
