WILMINGTON -- Hundreds of princesses, cats and even chickens showed up at Veteran's Park for a different kind of trick or treating.
It was called trunk or treating, and instead of going door to door, children went trunk to trunk in search of candy.
And they were no ordinary trunks. Each was decorated with a different theme, such as Candyland or the Wizard of Oz.
This marked the sixth year for the event, which is hosted by the Port City Community Church.
