WILMINGTON -- When shopping for fresh fruits and veggies, remember the hours for the popular Farmer's Market have changed.
Customers showed up to Halyburton Park Wednesday to pick out produce and flowers. The market is now open from 9:00am to 1:00pm for its new fall hours.
Mary Ann Olsen has a booth set up at the market. She says opening up an hour later is helpful.
"It does keep folks from having to get up so early. We normally have to get up early enough and drive 50 miles, and we come in the dark so it's kind of nice to come under the sunshine," says Olsen.
The market is open every Wednesday at Halyburton Park and every Saturday in downtown Wilmington.
