Wilmington's Video Poker Store Robbed

WILMINGTON -- A video poker store was robbed Friday morning.

Police say a man had a handgun when he robbed Jerry's Furniture on Market Street. They say Jerry's Furniture is actually a video poker outlet.

Police say he fought with a female employee and female customers.

He then grabbed some cash and ran out the back door.

Wilmington police officer Craig Melville says, "Anyone who goes to an establishment like Jerry's Furniture should be extra cautious."

This isn't the first time Jerry's Furniture has been robbed. Two people were killed at other Jerry's Furniture stores in the last couple years.
