WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH -- Hundreds of people gathered at Wrightsville Beach Park on Saturday to raise money and awareness for heart disease.
Survivors -- even one as young as 3 -- participated in the Cape Fear Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America.
WECT's Frances Weller helped warm the walkers up with some jumping jacks and a little marching.
The event raised more than $100,000.
