WILMINGTON -- The city's Public Utilities Director is retiring, just as his latest project completes.
After 33 years with the city, Hugh Caldwell announced his retirement.
It comes as the major repair to a sewage line on Shipyard Boulevard is being completed.
Almost half a mile of pipe in the Northeast Interceptor has been replaced over the past six months.
The new pipeline is expected to be in service in about three weeks.
Caldwell said the completion of the project makes this a logical time to retire.
The Chesterfield County Police Department says it is aware of a video circulating on social media that shows "part of an incident" during a traffic stop on Hollow Wood Court on Tuesday.
