Man Won't Go to Court for Horse-Riding Incident

-- A Rocky Point man won't have to go to court, but he still hopes he's making a statement about a Carolina Beach law.

Chris Lutterloah rode his horse Molly across the Snow's Cut Bridge on July 4 as a way to protest the town's ordinance that says horses can't be taken out on the road.

The district court case stemming from that ride has now been dismissed.

Lutterloah has gone to court more than a dozen times since 1997, trying to convince town leaders to change the law.
