Topsail Beach Gets State Money for New Boat Ramp

TOPSAIL BEACH -- Gov. Mike Easley announced more than $4 million in grants for North Carolina parks and recreation projects, including the Topsail Beach Boat Ramp.

The money will be used for buying land, and developing and renovating the areas.

The state will spend $290,000 for the new boat ramp.

Another $50,000 will go to Dublin Park in Bladen County, and $110,000 will go to William Smith Park in Oak Island.
