WILMINGTON -- Students from Coastal Christian High School, Wilmington's newest high school, worked on landscaping at Good Shepherd Ministry in downtown Wilmington on Wednesday.
They pulled weeds and spruced up the appearance of the homeless shelter.
The students have been performing volunteer work at several places throughout the week, including First Fruits Ministry and Carolina Beach State Park.
They also toured the shelter at Good Shepherd to get a better understanding of the ministry's work for the homeless.
