WILMINGTON -- One man was sent to the hospital after a shooting in Wilmington early Wednesday morning. But another man was lucky to walk away, thanks to his cell phone.
Spencer Paisley and Jevorne Valentine were driving through the Houston Moore Housing Complex when they were shot at, police said.
Paisley was shot twice in the leg, and taken to the hospital. He was treated and released afterwards.
Valentine told police that he was shot at, but the bullet was stopped by his cell phone.
Nobody had been arrested for the shooting. The victims were not cooperative with the police investigation, police said.

Sources say the man came into the restaurant with his family, got up and left, then drove his car into the building.
