Two Students in Hospital after Fight at Ashley High

WILMINGTON -- Two students are in the hospital after a fight at Ashley High School, and law enforcement officers are searching for four other students.

The fight began inside the school, when four ninth-grade boys beat up two other ninth graders, Ashley principal James McAdams told WECT. The fight then spilled outside at the main entrance.

Two students suffered head wounds. The four attackers ran off into the woods. We're told no weapons were involved in the fight.

Sheriff's deputies were called in to find them, but they were unsuccessful.

Once the four attackers are found, McAdams said they will be expelled from school.
