Drug Money Going Back to the Community

WILMINGTON -- Wilmington Police have seized even more money from a major drug bust in Wilmington.

Officers found $145,000 in cash hidden in a safety deposit box inside the home of Christopher Gause on Allen's Lane.

Gause is one of the men arrested earlier this week for running a major cocaine operation in his house and at his Castle Street Store, X-Slave Fashions.

Detectives already recovered close to $15,000, piles of cocaine and guns from Gause Wednesday.

Authorities say the money will be used by Police to fund future drug operations.
