JUNE 2, 2006 -- Some people might say that one man's trash may be another man's treasure. However, a Wilmington man decided to do the right thing with something he found.
Wyatt King was banking with his wife at North 7th Street, when he found a box of binders. He collected the binders, thinking he could use them himself. However, when he opened the box he found tax forms and stock certificates belonging to other people.
One of the documents even had a social security number on the front. King decided he should give the documents back to the rightful owners.
"Well, just being me, it's the thing to do. To put it in a nutshell, it's the thing to do and I encourage other people to do the same thing," said King.
