Police Searching for Shooter in Wilmington Murder

MARCH 30, 2006 -- A Wilmington family is mourning the death of a family member who was shot and killed Monday night.

Reginald Dent, 36,was murdered outside a video poker outlet where he worked near the corner of 17th and Market Streets in Wilmington. Officials say Dent was trying to stop a robber when he was shot. Police are still looking for that shooter.

Friends and family members gathered together at Dent's house on South 11th Street Tuesday to mourn his death. The family describes Dent as a kind man and a loving father.

Dent leaves behind a wife and three children.
