Moms Sell Cookbooks to Support Military Families

MAY 19, 2006 -- A group of Wilmington mothers are keeping the memories of their sons and daughters alive, one sweet recipe at a time.

The Azalea Chapter of the Gold Star Mothers are a group of mothers who have lost their military children in the line of duty.

They're now selling cookbooks to help support veteran and family services.

In the book you'll find recipes and pictures of the children and their moms.

The Rolling Thunder group showed their support for the Gold Star Mothers, and jumpstarted sales of the cookbook.

They all say the cookbooks put a face to a good cause.
