Man Arrested in Wilmington after Shots are Fired

MAY 11, 2006 -- Shots were fired at 12th and Chestnut streets in Wilmington, but police can't find any victims.  Wilmington police say they got the call around 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon that gunshots were heard. Witnesses say the people who were doing the shooting took off in a white Mercury Marquis. That car was found at 15th and Grace streets. When police searched the car, they found a handgun in the glove compartment.  Twenty-one-year-old Rafael Williams was arrested.  Police could not find anyone hit by any of the flying bullets.
