MAY 10, 2006 -- Getting medical help is about to get easier for people in Pender County. Developers broke ground Wednesday at the site of the Rocky Point Medical Pavilion.
The 22,000 square foot medical building will house offices for doctors and dentists, as well as diagnostic and treatment services. Officials say the new building will help accommodate the fast-growing population in Pender County.
Construction of the pavilion will begin June 1. Developers hope to complete the project early next year.
