One Stop Voting Begins in New Hanover County

APRIL 13, 2006 -- One stop voting for the upcoming primary elections in New Hanover County has begun. You can visit the Board of Elections office off Market Place Drive to cast ballots using the new electronic voting machines.

The early voting includes deciding on Democratic candidates for the 18th House District, and Republican candidates for the Board of Commissioners and Board of Elections. Voters are also deciding on two referendums for parks and transportation.

Voting lasts until April 29th. On that day voting should be done by 1:00p.m.  During the week, the polls are open from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
