Program Strives to Keep Kids in School

APRIL 6, 2006 -- Some suspended students are getting a second chance to stay in school.  "Program Easy" started five years ago at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Wilmington to help students with behavior problems.  "Easy" stands for Educational Alternative for Suspended Youth.

The staff uses homework help, behavior counseling, and daily anger management sessions. Its goal is to send kids back to school, and make them stay.
