MARCH 23, 2006 -- It's called the Ultimate Drive, and with each mile logged across the country in a pink BMW, dollars are going to fight breast cancer.
At Schaefer BMW in Wilmington, people were test driving specially marked cars to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This is the tenth year of the Ultimate Drive event which tours the country.
BMW donates a dollar for each mile driven during the event, which has averaged about a million miles each year of the campaign. The Ultimate Drive runs from March through October.
