Hundreds Gather in Fayetteville to Rally for Peace

MARCH 18, 2006 -- Monday marks the third anniversary of the beginning of the U.S. invasion in Iraq.

Hundreds of people gathered in Fayetteville Saturday to march and rally for peace. People at the rally are begging the Bush administration to bring the troops home.

Activists, veterans, and even children took part in the march from the Cumberland County Health Center to Rowan Park.

Supporters of the war staged a counter-rally opposite the park.
