Wilmington Nightclub Closing For Good

MARCH 14, 2006 -- The owners of a downtown Wilmington nightclub hoped to open back up after a violent incident outside the nightclub.

However, owners of Club Fusion were denied a request to have its liquor license reinstated.

The owners met with the ABC Board in Raleigh on Monday.

The club, which was going to open back under a new name, was shut down by ale officers after several fights and a stabbing.
